Tucked away in the centre of Bowral's historic Grand Hotel building is the Grand Bar and Brasserie's award winning restaurant.

The restaurant extends the French concept of the Brasserie, fine dining in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, by incorporating the excellent produce available in the Southern Highlands with an exciting Mod Oz cuisine.

The Grand Bar and Brasserie of Bowral has won the category of Best Casual Dining Venue in Country NSW at the annual Awards for Excellence.

The category, previously known as Best Restaurant, was renamed Best Casual Dining Venue this year in a move to more accurately describe the nature of the award.

This award has now been awarded to The Grand an unprecedented five times with wins in 1992, 1993, 1997, 2002 and now 2005. The Grand has been named as a finalist every year since 1992.

The Brasserie is open 7 days a week for Lunch 12.30 to 2.30 and Dinner 6.00 to 9.00
